I LOVE...
...Pret A Manger's Crimble Crumble

A combination of two of the best things ever - crumble topping and mince pie filling. A 'Pret A Manger' just opened on the corner of my road making it difficult to simply walk by.

...BBC Radio 4

If I could have one luxury on my desert island, I think Radio 4 would be hard to beat for keeping me sane. It constantly reminds me what a rich, fascinating and crazy world we live in.

...Battery-powered Horse

If you ever happen to be at the main bus station in Thessaloniki, keep an eye out for the man selling these horses for a mere five euros. They stagger along at an impressive rate, making great horse noises as they go. I bought one for my three-year-old nephew but was very tempted to keep it for myself!

...Walking Poles

A total revelation to me for mountain hiking. It's like suddenly having an extra pair of legs. The top half of the body is exercised too and they're great for balance and extra speed. They also take some of the pressure off the knees.

...Exotic Puzzle Boxes

I have a small collection of puzzle boxes from all over the world. I bought the one on the right from Casablanca. This one is a double puzzle as you have to find where the key is hidden, then find the keyhole. Not easy! It also has a mystical and exotic smell.
